I believe Doris knew her as Anna Dora WINKLER and was called "Dorry"

I married into the Winkler family. My husband, Hans' dad came over from Lauben, Germany in 1958. He is Manfred Winkler dob 17/01/1939 in Dietmannsried. He left behind two sisters, Agnes and Maritta. Their parents were Johann Winkler dob 12/09/1908 in München and Mechtilde Hafner dob 16/07/1909 in Lauben. They had married on 30/11/1935 in Lauben. He died 08/06/1980. When visiting we stayed near Kempton & there were small towns like Schwartzenbuhlers and Winklers. See if you can link this to your tree!

My great grand father was Jacob Winkler. His dad was John. They were both from Horcheim Germany. Jacob married Augusta Weitscheiber <sp> from Bremen. They had 2 children, John and Catherine. John (single) and Catherine married Robert Bechtold. Their 2 children were Robert Jr (single)and Patricia my mother. Pat married Stanley Gawlik. my two sisters are Marylynn and Katherine. (Nana changed the spelling of her name,lol)
